Hydroinformatics education – the Water Informatics in Science and Engineering (WISE) Centre for Doctoral Training

Abstract. The Water Informatics in Science and Engineering Centre for Doctoral Training (WISE CDT) offers a postgraduate programme that fosters enhanced levels of innovation collaboration by training cohort engineers scientists at the boundary water informatics, science engineering. WISE CDT was established 2014 with funding from UK Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) amongst universities Bath, Bristol, Cardiff Exeter. will ultimately graduate over 80 PhD candidates trained non-traditional 4-year doctoral integrates teaching research elements close range industrial partners. focuses on cohort-based education equips wide skills developed through workshops other activities to maximise candidate abilities experiences.
